Moved to Luxembourg 1991 with her husband and newborn child. She took a brake from her artistic life and dedicated herself to her growing family. She gave birth to three more children. Unfortunately her firstborn Desirée died of a brain tumor 1996. After seven years of struggling with depression, burn out and declining health Jeanette started working on her solo exhibition LIFE 2003, dedicated to Desirée. The premier opening was 2007.
She founded and initiated Semaphore Art Studios 2008. A collective of art studios in the old train station Oetrange Gare, in Luxembourg where she also have her own studio. http://semaphore.lu
Jeanette received Luxembourg Nationality 2017.
She works with oil- and acrylic-paint on different materials and fabric, embroidery on paper and fabric, paper constructions, reverse glass technique, mixed technique and installations.
